Yes, an existing policy end date can be shortened or extended.
A policy end date can be extended anytime before the original policy end date (before the existing policy expires). Please note, policies can not be extended after the original policy end date when the policy has already ended.
A policy end date can be shortened anytime before your journey commences (before your policy start date). If you shorten your policy you will not be covered for emergency cancellation protection. See the Product Disclosure Statement for more information.
